Continental which the tires from rather little-known ESA+Tecar brand and also which are recently presented to Kleber follow were recognized as the best. All three models possess the balanced characteristics, but all had also features. So, Continental especially successfully acted in tests on snow and wet asphalt, at tires ESA+Tecar in which development specialists of Goodyear were engaged, pleased the impressing coupling on ice which at the same time is combined with good economy of fuel, and Kleber with the low level of wear.
Two more tires could enter into group of leaders too, but they missed this opportunity because of insignificant weaknesses in separate disciplines, Dunlop showed rather low results on a dry track, and Goodyear conceded to the best tires in tests on snow.
Other tires with rating "Good" afforded weaknesses in several tests. Hankook could not be compared to leaders on a wet covering and snow, and same treats Vredestein at which besides low resistance to wear. Tires Yokohama lost points because of low coupling on a wet surface and high wear. In turn Falken poorly acted on snow, ice, dry and wet asphalt because of what they seriously worsened the final assessment. Firestone and Nokian especially considerably lagged behind leaders on a wet covering whereas Michelin which have very high wear resistance could not receive assessment "Well" because of rather weak coupling on snow and ice, and also high fuel consumption. Aeolus showed only satisfactory properties on snow and a wet covering, and they have to that a high wear; Kumho had problems in tests on a wet covering and snow; and at Sava - on wet and dry asphalt.
Semperit which have very weak results on a dry covering became the only tires with assessment "Indifferently".
Pirelli and Bridgestone could not take part in the test of this year as their urgent models at the time of carrying out tests were not available yet.
